Voss Artesian Water

Voss Artesian Water from Norway comes from an aquifer in Southern Norway, protected from the pollutants by layers of rock and sand. They used to bottle it in glass, in which case it would have received 5 stars. Now they bottle it in plastic like all the other brands. We are never thrilled with the plastic component of bottled water because of the environmental havoc it wreaks and because who knows how long those plastic bottles might have sat on a truck or in the sun and how much leaching occurred. Still, we are happy to see water that comes from the earth and contains all of its mineral content vs. a purified water that doesn't work as well to hydrate the body.
