Numi Tea - Rooibos

Rooibos also known as Red Tea, is an herb indigenous to the Cederberg region of South Africa. It has a deep, earthy vanilla taste, is rich in antioxidants and known for its calming affects. Rooibos tea is known to help with irritability, headaches, disturbed sleeping patterns and can help to relieve stomach cramps and colic in infants.. Rooibos tea contains no caffeine and therefore has a soothing effect on the central nervous system. It is also low in tannin and therefore does not have a negative effect on the absorption of iron and proteins into the body. Numi uses only real fruits, flowers, herbs and spices in their tea bags, without the added oils or flavorings (including "natural flavorings") common to the market. They use only full-leaf tea in their teabags ensuring loose-leaf quality tea. Teas and herbs are certified Organic, Fair Trade, Kosher & Halal.
