CalNaturale Chardonnay
Dietary Needs:
None
From Paso Robles, CalNaturale represents high quality and sustainable winemaking. All grapes are certified organic, which means that they were never treated with pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. Organic wine is produced by farmers who emphasize the use of renewable resources and the conservation of soil and water to enhance environmental quality for future generations. Another reason that sets organic wine apart from regular wine is that it contains less sulfites. Sulfites are salts or sulfurous acids that occur naturally in many wines. It is vary rare to find a wine that does not have sulfites, however MORE sulfites are generally added to regular wine to help in the preservation process. 100% Organic wines are made with no added sulfites. The less sulfites a wine contains, the healthier it will be for your body (and your cheeks won't be as rosy!)We love that this company has carried their sustainable farming practices all the way through to the packaging. CalNaturale comes in Tetra-Pak flexible packaging which is very eco-friendly, utilizing less than half the greenhouse gasses, waste and energy in producing and transporting our product. This Chardonnay has a hint of vanilla and lightly toasted oak. What we really love is that the packaging has half the carbon footprint of wines in glass bottles, although we aren't sure that people will love drinking wine out of a box....might remind them of their college days.

Kashi GOLEAN Crisp! Toasted Berry Crumble
Dietary Needs:
None
Kashi is a brand
you might see in both conventional grocery stores and health food
stores alike. In our opinion it isn't necessarily considered 'health
food.' This cereal has both added sugar and is made from soy which we
are not proponents of in any way. This cereal is made with whole grain clusters
and is naturally sweetened with a blend of cranberries and wild
blueberries. GOLEAN has 9 grams of protein and 8 grams of fiber which
is approximately twice the protein and fiber of other cereals, which
will leave you feeling full longer. Kashi is now part of the non-GMO
movement and right now 7 of their products are verified
GMO-free. We suggest you only purchase Kashi products with the Non-GMO Project seal on it.

Navitas Wheatgrass Powder
Dietary Needs:
None
Commonly known as “Green Gold”
wheatgrass has long been used to help cleanse the body of toxins.
This fine brightly colored green powder started as wheat grass juice
that was cold-temperature dried into this concentrated powder.
Wheatgrass is one of the lowest-calorie, most nutrient-rich foods
available on the planet which makes it an incredibly potent
superfood. We are constantly working with clients to increase the
alkalinity in the body and research has shown wheatgrass to contain
70% chlorophyll composition, making it exceptionally alkaline. It
also contains over 70 minerals and vitamins, hundreds of live
enzymes, amino acids, antioxidants, and is highly concentrated with
protein. This sweet and smooth wheatgrass can offer a lift in energy,
and is a great component to any detox or cleansing program. Due to
the potency of wheatgrass, nausea is occasionally reported after
consumption. This symptom typically arises when the body is toxic can
be a hint that the body really needs to detox. We always say 'fresh
is best' so freshly squeezed wheatgrass is going to be an upgrade to
the powder, however this gets 5 stars for meeting our criteria as
well as the convenience factor.
